Healthcare should make you feel better.
Let’s work together to reduce your medications and improve your health.
I partner with you to discover why you have a health problem. Then we develop a plan to address the cause.
Here you will be heard.
This starts with in-depth questionnaires and an hour-long visit where I listen to your story.
If testing is indicated, I’ll order it. In addition to standard labs, I also use specialized tests your primary care provider doesn’t. These include heavy metal and mold tests, intracellular micronutrient level analyses, and food sensitivity screenings.
Together we create a game plan. Be warned: to change your health, you’ll need to change your lifestyle.
Are you ready to make that change and feel better?

What We Do NOT Do:
- Prescribe controlled/scheduled meds. These include benzodiazepines (xanax, ativan, etc), pain medication, and stimulants (Adderall, concerta, etc.).
- Prescribe lithium.
- Diagnose ADHD. A neuro psychologist should do this.
- Diagnose autism. A psychologist should do this.
- Perform in-depth psychological testing. A psychologist does that.
- Replace your primary care provider. Sometimes you need in-person visits.
- Provide urgent care services. See your PCP or urgent care.
- Provide emergency services. Go to the ER or call 911 or 988.
- Treat severe medical problems without the cooperation of other specialists.
- Give free care.
- See Florida clients with ONLY mental health problems. You must have at least one medical-type problem too. (It’s FL law.) It can be basic, such as tachycardia (elevated heart rate) or fatigue.
- Fill out paperwork for work or school.
- Take Medicare or Medicaid.
- Guarantee results.
LENA CHAMPLIN, MSN, ARNP
I practiced as a family nurse practitioner in numerous states and with a wide variety of clients. I have Florida and Arizona nurse practitioner licenses.
After working for a number of companies in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I began my private practice. This allows me to treat patients as individuals and to cater to their needs in ways “mass production” medical companies cannot. When I partner with you, I want to give you the knowledge and tools you need to succeed – and to eventually not need me anymore.
I am committed to finding solutions for my clients. I can prescribe medication if needed (not controlled substances or Lithium), but I prefer to use non-pharmacological options. Functional and holistic medicine form my practice style. I have spent years studying nutrition and lifestyle modifications that can help reduce or relieve mental and physical disorders. I support carnivore, paleo / primal, and ketogenic / low carb diets.
I prefer to work with clients who are motivated to change their lifestyles. If you just want to take a pill so you can continue your unhealthy choices, that’s your right, but I will challenge you to make real changes. It’s not as hard as you think!
